XP & Badges Guide
A New Way to Qualify
The Rock N Roll Poker League now rewards more than just where you finish. By attending games, supporting the community, exploring new venues, completing your profile, and reaching milestones, you'll earn XP (Experience Points) throughout the season.
What are XP Points?
XP (Experience Points) reward you for being an active member of the Rock N Roll Poker League community. While Poker Points are earned by how well you finish at the tables, XP is earned by participating, completing challenges, visiting venues, and reaching community milestones throughout the season.
Earn Your Main Event Seat
There are now two ways to qualify for the Main Event:
- Finish Top 10 at one of our venues for the season.
- Earn 750 XP during the season.
Either achievement earns you a seat.

Think of the XP qualification as earning another Top 10 finish.
The more ways you qualify, the bigger your advantage when the Main Event begins.
How to Earn XP

| Set Birthday | 25 XP Awarded once when a player sets their date of birth on their profile. | |
| Set Nickname | 15 XP Awarded once when a player sets a nickname on their profile. | |
| Attendance | Check In at Event | 1 XP Awarded once per event on physical check-in. |
| Early Registration Bonus | 3 XP Bonus awarded when registering before the early cutoff. Stacks with base award. | |
| Register for Event | 2 XP Awarded once per event on registration. | |
| Community | Active Community Membership | 50 XP Awarded each month the player holds an active community membership. |
| Content | Read Blog Article | 1 XP Awarded for opening/reading a blog article. Maximum 4 times per month. |
| Directory | Click Business Promo Link | 5 XP Awarded once per business per month for clicking their promotional link. Enforcement must also check ReferenceId (BusinessId). |
| View Business Listing | 1 XP Awarded for viewing a business directory listing. Maximum 4 times per month. | |
| Exploration | Attend New Venue First Time | 20 XP Awarded the first time a player attends an event at a venue they have not visited before. |
| Gameplay | 1st Place Finish | 20 XP Awarded for winning a game (1st place). |
| 2nd Place Finish | 10 XP Awarded for finishing 2nd in a game. | |
| 3rd Place Finish | 8 XP Awarded for finishing 3rd in a game. | |
| Hold Bounty Entire Game | 25 XP Awarded when a player keeps their bounty for the entire game without being knocked out. | |
| Make Final Table | 4 XP Awarded for finishing in the top 9 (main game final table). | |
| Win Bounty | 15 XP Awarded each time a player wins a bounty in a game. No per-game cap. | |
| Loyalty | Attend 3 Events in a Row | 8 XP Streak bonus awarded each time a player attends 3 consecutive events in a season. Tracked via XPStreak table. |
| Attend 5 Events in Season | 15 XP Awarded once per season when a player reaches 5 event attendances. | |
| Milestone | Qualify for Main Event | 25 XP Awarded once per season when a player qualifies for the main tournament event. |
| Prestige | Win a Bar | 40 XP Awarded once per season for winning a venue bar leaderboard. |
| Social | Add Friend | 1 XP Awarded once per unique player added as a friend. |
| Invite Friend Who Places | 25 XP Awarded when an invited friend attends an event and places in the top finishers. |
Badges
Badges are permanent achievements that celebrate the milestones you've accomplished throughout the league.
Unlike XP, badges aren't earned repeatedly—they're awarded when you complete something memorable.
Some badges are easy to recognize.

Many badges are intentionally hidden.
Some reward incredible accomplishments, others recognize loyalty, consistency, or special moments throughout the season.
Part of the fun is discovering them as you play.
